Battle-Ready Protection That Fits Over Your Frames For operators and shooters who wear prescription glasses, finding goggles that fit comfortably without compromising safety has always been a challenge—until now. The Rothco ANSI Ballistic OTG (Over-The-Glasses) Goggles are engineered with a specialized 7/8-inch temple cutout on each side, allowing them to seal perfectly over most standard prescription eyewear frames. This design eliminates the pressure points and "floating" fit common with standard goggles, ensuring your eyes remain fully sealed against debris and wind.
Safety is paramount, and these goggles meet the most rigorous standards in the industry. They are rated to ANSI Z87-1 and the rigorous military ballistic standard MIL-DTL-43511D, capable of withstanding high-velocity impacts from dirt, shrapnel, and shell casings. The 2mm Thick Polycarbonate Lens features advanced anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings, paired with top and bottom vents to maintain superior optical clarity in humid conditions. Whether you are breaching a door or spending a day at the range, the movable hinges and rubberized strap ensure a secure, non-slip fit over your helmet or directly on your head.
Key Features
- OTG Design: specifically engineered with a deep 7/8" channel on the temples to fit comfortably over prescription glasses or sunglasses.
- Dual Safety Rated: Meets both ANSI Z87-1 (Civilian) and MIL-DTL-43511D (Military) standards for high-velocity impact protection.
- 2mm Polycarbonate Lens: Ultra-thick lens provides a ballistic barrier and offers UV400 Protection against harmful sun rays.
- Fog-Free Performance: Features top and bottom ventilation ports combined with an anti-fog lens coating to keep your vision clear during exertion.
- Helmet Compatible: Movable side hinges allow the goggles to sit flush against the face even when the strap is stretched over a tactical helmet.
- Secure Grip: The adjustable head strap features a rubberized non-slip grip to prevent the goggles from sliding down during movement.
Why It Matters If you wear glasses, you know the struggle of trying to jam them inside standard goggles. It hurts, and it leaves gaps in your protection. These goggles solve that problem specifically, giving you Mil-Spec protection without the need for expensive prescription inserts.
Technical Overview Standard: ANSI Z87-1 / MIL-DTL-43511D. Lens: 2mm Polycarbonate. Frame: TPU. Feature: OTG Cutout.
