This plant makes fantastic indoor pot plants or ground covers in shady areas of the garden. Plant in areas where there will be no direct sunlight.

The Fireflash prefers humid conditions. Therefore, mist regularly if grown indoors, or keep in a room with high humidity such as bathrooms.


Chlorophytum filipendulum subsp. amaniense ‘Fire Flash’ is a dazzling species from Tanzania, Africa. It has glossy dark green leaves with bright orange petioles. These petioles grow in beautiful rosettes and are the main attraction. This striking tropical is usually called ‘Fireflash’ but also known as ” Mandarin Plant”, “Fire Glory” and “Sierra Leone Lily”. It is an easy to grow house plant if given lots of light in a bright window. Shade to partial shade, temp. 50 to 95 degrees, 12 to 15in. tall, allow getting slightly dry between watering.

The wrinkle resistant feature actually works only on paper, wrinkle resistant is only a slab of steel or rubber, though after a good steam iron it keeps the shape for a while. The stitching and buttons feel solid, and after washing, the shirt held its shape and color well. - 2 ⭐⭐ Here is the big critic, I liked the shirt, but it came stained there is a big stain on a sleeve, & I am not sure if it will come off, this is the second on I ordered because the first one was also stained, it seems like some oil or rust ingrained into the fabric, I can understand the first shirt was "used like new", but the second one supposed to be new, yet it is stained, a lot of loose threads, weird seams and stains. As I said this shirt justifies itself only at the discounted price. I did my best to show it in pictures, alas not the way I wanted, it is more visible in person.
